In 2023, Ahmed Hammad – a software engineer who studied in the United States and returned to the West Bank in 2018 – saw a glaring gap: talented, hardworking individuals lacked the practical skills needed for high‑level employment. Determined to change that, he founded Lighton Academy. What started as a small training initiative has grown into a beacon of hope for hundreds of students, proving that with the right skills, anyone can rise.
